Rubble, brick & concrete
Brick, block, broken concrete, old patio slabs, hardcore and clean fill. Bagged or loose, we lift it and load it. Sent to aggregate recycling where the grade allows.
Plasterboard (segregated)
Plasterboard has to go to a licensed inert-waste facility under the Environmental Protection Act. We segregate at load and send it down the right stream. Pricing reflects the separate disposal route.
Timber, offcuts & pallets
Joinery offcuts, old skirting, pallets, battens, floorboards, kitchen carcasses. Sent to reuse or wood-chipping where the timber is clean.
Kitchen & bathroom strip-outs
Old units, worktops, tiles, bath suites, sinks, shower enclosures. We turn up, pull it out, take it away in one visit. Often same-day if the new fit is booked in.

How much does builders waste removal cost in York?
Fixed price per job, based on volume, access, and what's going. Plasterboard and rubble price separately from mixed loads because they go to different facilities. You'll have a firm number before we start. No weight charges, no call-out fees when we can quote from photos.
Do I need a skip, or can you clear site without one?
For most small to mid-size jobs, man-and-van is quicker, cheaper, and without the council permit if the skip would go on-highway. You only pay for what actually leaves site, rather than the air above a half-filled skip. If the project genuinely needs a skip on site for a fortnight, we can advise.
Can you take plasterboard?
Yes. Plasterboard has to be segregated from general waste under the Environmental Protection Act and taken to a licensed inert-waste facility. We handle the segregation at load so you don't have to. Pricing reflects the separate route.
Do you take rubble, concrete and hardcore?
Yes. Brick, block, broken concrete, old patio slabs, clean fill. Bagged or loose. Clean grades go to aggregate recycling where it can be reused as sub-base on other sites. Mixed rubble with soil or plastic in it is priced slightly higher because it needs extra sorting at our end.
Do you provide Waste Transfer Notes?
Yes, on request. Every pickup moves under our Upper Tier Waste Carriers Licence. The Waste Transfer Note records what left, where it went, and when, keeping your duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act covered for the required two years. Useful for builders, contractors, commercial clients and homeowners on bigger projects.
Can you work around an active site?
Regularly. We can schedule for first thing, late afternoon, or between trades. Quick drops and scheduled recurring pickups both work. Ring us with the programme and we'll fit to it.
How quickly can you come out?
Same or next day for smaller clears in York. End-of-site and full clears usually within 24 to 48 hours so we can schedule the right crew and van size. Ring us, we'll tell you honestly what the diary looks like.
What do you charge to clear a kitchen or bathroom strip-out?
Depends on volume, access (stairs, parking, where the van can get to) and what's included. Tiles, old units and a bath suite from a standard semi usually comes in under a full van-load. Firm price given from photos, often the same day as the new fit is booked.
What can't you take?
Asbestos, even suspected. Clinical waste, chemicals, fuel or oil. Any of those need a specialist hazardous-waste carrier. If we spot it on a walkthrough we'll stop, flag it, and point you at someone licensed for it. Everything non-hazardous from a normal build, renovation or strip-out, we take.
