How much does private bin collection cost in York?
One all-in price per collection, based on how often the bin is emptied: £17.50 weekly, £22.50 fortnightly, or £30 monthly. That covers the bin and the empty. One-off collections are quoted on request. No purchase, no deposit and no setup fee.
Do you do one-off bin collections?
Yes. As well as regular private wheelie bin collection, you can book a single one-off collection when you just need the extra cleared, without signing up to a schedule.
Do you provide the wheelie bin, or do I buy one?
We provide it. We deliver a wheelie bin to your address ready to use and collect it again if you ever stop the service. There is nothing to buy and no deposit to pay.
Can I change how often it is collected?
Yes. Move between weekly, fortnightly and monthly whenever your needs change, pause it if you are away or between projects, and cancel any time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
Do you cover my area?

Do you collect commercial and business waste too?
Yes. The same private bin collection works as commercial and business waste collection for shops, offices, pubs, cafés and B&Bs. Every business pickup moves under our Upper Tier Waste Carriers Licence with a Waste Transfer Note issued each time, so your duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act is covered.
Do Airbnbs and holiday lets need commercial waste collection?
Yes. Under the Controlled Waste Regulations, holiday let and Airbnb waste is commercial waste, so hosts cannot legally use household bins and must keep waste transfer records. We collect on your changeover days, weekends included, and issue the paperwork automatically, keeping you audit-ready for the 2026 short-let registration scheme.
